In Loving Memory:

I will no longer enjoy the wonderful companionship of my dear peacocks. They have been taken by coyotes which came as two maybe more and I found a trail of white feathers across the field. My neighbor saw two coyotes in the field and didn't call. Why?

Following are some pictures of my irreplaceable friends.

Snow who loved to sit in the window and watch me at the computer . He was curious and brave and full of mischief. They would sneak home like naughty children if they left the yard or barnyard and I would have to walk out after them.

Lil Carlos, his brother, a beautiful blue, was the less agressive one and loved to follow Snow about. They would call to each other if one was out of sight. They loved playing ring around the rosey, chasing each other in circles and also hide and seek, peeking out from behind bushes. They made up games.

Luchia their mother hatched them 2 1/2 years ago . Her presence was of quiet calm.

I am very depressed and find myself choking back sobs with a feeling of anxiety.

What a gift they were and they are now gone, predators intruding and taking them as a mere meal.

I just got back from a trip to go to my grandson's wedding. Picture of Ben and Sara's wedding. The new couple now married and home from their honeymoon. They invited me to breakfast at the Inn the morning after the wedding and we visited before they left on their honeymoon. It was a beautiful wedding despite the weather . Trevor was the best man and Rosanna the rattlesnake killer is standing just behind the bride.
