pretty little iris

This little iris is pretty .

I just researched the globe mallow and learned that the leaves, the flowers and the seeds are edible. Guess I'll be doing some munching. Right now the 3'x3' bushes are full of the meaty little seed pods and still quite a few flowers . They say they are good in salads although not commonly used.
