I have seen a snake twice now, outside. This is a coachwhip snake. The one that lives here is more of a soft pink and has dark rings around its neck. Yesterday I was out watering the garden when my resident snake slithered out and got a good bath in the spray from my hose. We had a little conversation and I felt happy that we had a moment to share.
